We will run Conquest for now, but we would like to know which settings you would like to have.

Killcam on or off?

3D Spotting on or off?
( triangle over the enemy head )

3rd Person Vehicle Cameras on or off?

Friendly Fire, Crosshair, Minimap Spotting, Auto Balance and Minimap itself will be set to on and Hardcore to off for now.

The settings, which are chosen by the most of the poeple, will be updated to the server on friday night after some tests.

Remember.
At the 3D Vehicle camera you also have a crosshair. It is not like in BF2142 or BF2!

I'll just say one thing, I am ok with anything, except for kill cam. I do not want a kill cam, I hate them and always will. As for the others, I voted preference, but kill cam is the big one for me, a big NO.

Hardcore FTW

CF2142 has always been Hardcore. Though 3p vehicle cams is OK.

yea killcam off please
may be good for campers but its not really realistic

the vehicle cam is ok too cause u dont have no crosshair f.e. while beeing the gunner of a tank but u can see some more stuff if youre on a jetsky

3d spotting ...yea
as i played cf2142 i think we were able to spot enemys aint we?^^
but i dont care if we can spot or not
maybe we can try both in a few rounds and see how it works

Talking to Neo the last night made me rethink about the kill cam. If you shoot some1 and blood comes out then it means you have done some damage and if that player kills you then the kill cam will show his/her health, if that person is using any health hack then you can see it as his/her health will be 100% even when you have hit him/her.

Is that makes sense?

Yea, honestly more often than not I'm beginning to prefer the kill cam. Despite my gripes about it and camping, that is the aspect I like to see, what their health was, sometimes to see if hack, sometimes to see how close I got them before they got me.

But if we have our own server and it is a members only participation in the tourny then surely killcam is not needed to check up on our own people?

Hit dedection is not wroking as it should. So you see blood but the server does not register the hit.
That means you can not say that someone is using a hack just because of the kill cam! But I will turn it on for you guys.

Sorry, but wtf? You created a poll to see what people wanted, the majority wanted it off yet a minority of people want it on so you say it will be on?

Damon I am switching the settings all the time.
It depends on the people who are playing on the server at that moment. I am ofcourse keeping the settings on the server the poll is suggesting but when we are pubbing on TS I am asking the guys what they want. After I am going off the "poll settings" are active again

in may favs its black but if i want to join either my game crashes or it takes 1 min to tell me that i cant join
